1. Definitions
- The Platform: the Sherkety online service, including its control panels, online stores, customer portal and API.
- We: Smart One Software, the operator of the Platform.
- The Customer: the person or company that creates an account on the Platform and subscribes to one of its plans, including their users.
- Customer Data: everything the Customer or its users enter into the Platform (their clients, invoices, journal entries, employees, products…).
By using the Platform or creating an account, you agree to these terms, to the Privacy Policy and to the Refund Policy.
2. Account and registration
- The Customer must provide accurate, up-to-date information and keep passwords and login details confidential.
- The Customer is responsible for everything done through its account and the accounts of users it adds, and for the permissions it grants them.
- Report any suspected unauthorised use to info@sog.eg without delay.
3. Trial and subscriptions
- A free trial of 14 days may be available, without a payment method.
- Subscriptions are paid in advance for the chosen term (monthly, semiannual or annual) and renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- The prices published on the Platform at the time of purchase apply. We notify customers of any price change before it applies to their next renewal.
- Payments are made through licensed payment gateways (such as Fawaterk). We do not store card details.
- If payment is not received by the end of the grace period, the account may be suspended until it is, and its data is kept.
- Subscriptions bought through an authorised reseller are also governed by the agreement between the Customer and that reseller as to pricing and collection.
4. Customer Data
- Customer Data belongs to the Customer. We process it only to provide, operate and secure the service. We do not sell it or use it for advertising.
- The Customer is responsible for the lawfulness of the data it enters and for obtaining any consent required, in line with Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020.
- Each customer's data is isolated from every other customer's on the Platform.
- The Customer can extract its reports with the Platform's export tools, or request a complete copy of its data at info@sog.eg.
5. Acceptable use
The Platform may not be used for:
- any activity that breaks Egyptian law or the law of the country where the Customer operates;
- spam, or messages to people who have not agreed to receive them, over WhatsApp, email or Telegram;
- attempting to reach other customers' data, or testing the Platform's security without our written permission;
- uploading malware or content that infringes the rights of others.
We may suspend an account immediately for a breach of this section.
6. Availability, support and updates
- We aim to keep the Platform available around the clock, with planned maintenance announced in advance where possible.
- We take encrypted backups of the data regularly.
- We develop the Platform continuously and may add, change or retire features with reasonable notice.
- Support is available at info@sog.eg and through the support channels inside the Platform.
7. E-invoicing and tax obligations
The Platform provides tools to connect with the Egyptian Tax Authority's e-invoicing system. The accuracy of the tax data submitted and compliance with tax law remain the Customer's sole responsibility.
8. Termination
- The Customer may cancel at any time; the account stays active until the end of the paid term.
- After a subscription ends or is cancelled, we keep the data for 90 days, during which the account can be reactivated or a copy of the data requested. After that it may be deleted permanently.
- The Customer may ask at any time for its data to be deleted permanently, at info@sog.eg.
9. Intellectual property
The Platform, its software, design and trademarks belong to Smart One Software. The Customer receives a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for the duration of its subscription, and may not copy or resell the Platform except through the authorised reseller programme.
10. Limitation of liability
- The Platform is provided "as is"; we do not guarantee that it is entirely free of errors or interruptions.
- We are not liable for indirect losses or lost profits.
- Our total liability will in no case exceed what the Customer paid for its subscription in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms from time to time and will notify customers of material changes through the Platform or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Platform after that means accepting the amended terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
